it is based on the theme of a “Coconut Grove”. It can be reached in a few hour’s drive by road from Mumbai, Pune, Nasik and Kolhapur.
The Konkan Coastline where Ganpatipule is located is around 450 kilometers long in Maharashtra and lies to the west of Sahyadri mountain range.
Ganapatipule is approximately 375 kms away from Mumbai. A very small village, it has one of the best beaches along the Konkan Coast – a heavenly get away that attracts harmony lovers, beach lovers, and pilgrims alike. The temple of Swayambhu (self-originated) Ganesha is much frequented by the young and the old, over the years. The God is considered to be the Paschim Dwardevta (Western direction God).
Excellent Place. Superb Interiors. All rooms are very Tastefully done. Food Quality is Beyond words. A must visit for all. Missed staying here.

Ratnagiri is a port town in Maharashtra, western India. Overlooking the Arabian Sea, Ratnadurg Fort has the Bhagwati temple and a lighthouse. Northeast, a fish museum and aquarium includes turtles and a whale skeleton. Thibaw Palace was the residence of the exiled king of Burma. North of the city, Ganpatipule Temple is dedicated to Lord Ganesh. Northeast, Koyna Wildlife Sanctuary is a forested area sheltering tigers.

Thibaw Palace is in Ratnagiri city is historical building . This historical palace built in 1910-11 by the british. This palace area is about 25803 Sq. Meter. When british bring the King Thiba from Bramahadesh, they shifted him in Ratnagiri and for the King Thiba the palace is built.
Ganapatipule Ganesh Temple
One of the most visited Ganpati Temple in the Konkan region. The location of the temple on a beach makes it even more unique and delight for the visitors. The locals don’t bring Ganpati idols at the home but worship the Ganapathi at the temple.
Kavi Keshavsut Smarak
Bith Place of revolutionary Marathi Poet Krishnaji Keshav Damle alias Kavi Keshavsut. An ancestral house converted into liabrary & cultural centre.
Pawas
20 km away from the town of Ratnagiri is Pawas, a place where Swarupanand Swami took his samadhi. Affectionately known as “Appa” or “Rambhau”, Swami’s original name was Ramchandra.
Bhagwati Bunder

Jaigad Fort

Lokmanya Tilak Birth Place
Lokmanya Tilak was an Indian nationalist, journalist, teacher, social reformer, lawyer and popular leader of the Indian Independence Movement. He was born in this place and lived there till the age of 10. You can see his old photos, press clippings and various items in original used by Shri Lokmanya Tilak.

We were 13 Senior Citizens and booked 6 rooms for 2 nights. Rooms are very well maintained neat & clean and comfortable. Food was excellent, very tasty . Staff is very humble & very co operative. Is a fantastic place to spend your time. The resort has ample space for play and spend time. The beach is at a very close distance and is clean. Lot of watersport activities are available on the beach.The rooms are very spacious and clean. The washrooms are very clean and there is 24 hours hot water. The food quality is superb and tasty too. I happened to be on my birthday and as a courtesy they gave me complimentary starter too. The breakfast provided has a touch of home made food which makes it even more mouth watering.Lastly the owners are always there for any help required. I truly enjoyed my stay and will be backread more

The property is located bang opposite scenic Malgund beach....The property is also very neat and well maintained. The only suggestion is to improve the food options and the taste significantly. The breakfast also needs to have more items. All in all, a fantastic option for 2 to 3 days getaway.read more
